The conditions governing the wedding photography service — timing, delivery, rights and responsibilities of both parties.
Scope of the service
These Terms and Conditions govern the wedding photography service provided by Manuel Diamanti to the client. The service includes:
- Photographic coverage of the wedding event
- Processing and post-production of the images
- Delivery of the photos according to the chosen package
Duration and timing of the service
Coverage hours
- Standard duration: 8-10 hours (to be agreed in the contract)
- Start and end time: as per contractual agreement
Overtime
Beyond the agreed hours, the photographer reserves the right to apply an hourly surcharge, to be agreed in advance.
Number of photos and delivery
Number of photos
- Guaranteed minimum: 600 edited photos
- Average delivered: 800-1000 photos
- Selection criteria: only professional-quality photos, correctly exposed and relevant to the event
Delivery time
- Standard time: 90 working days from the wedding date
- Previews: any partial deliveries within 30 days
Delivery format
Delivery is made via an online digital gallery, a file-transfer service (WeTransfer, Dropbox or similar) and physical media (USB) only if included in the package. Photos are delivered in high-resolution JPEG, with professional editing (colour correction, exposure, cropping).
Price and payment terms
Service price
The price is the one stated in the specific contract signed by both parties.
Deposit
- Deposit required: 30% of the total price
- Purpose: to reserve the date and cover preliminary costs
- When: within 7 days of signing the contract
Balance
- When: within 30 days of photo delivery
- Methods: bank transfer, cash (within legal limits), credit card
Late payment
- Interest: 8% per year under Italian Legislative Decree 231/2002 on late payments
- Service suspension: the photographer may suspend delivery until the balance is paid
Cancellation and withdrawal
Cancellation by the client

Cancellation by the photographer
The photographer may withdraw only for force majeure (serious illness, extreme weather events, unforeseeable impossibility not attributable to the photographer). In this case the deposit is fully refunded.
Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by natural events, pandemics, wars or civil unrest, and other unforeseeable and unavoidable events.
Copyright and use of the photos
Ownership of rights
- The photographer is the exclusive owner of the copyright on the photographs (art. 15, Italian Copyright Law 633/1941)
- The client obtains a personal, non-commercial licence to use the photos
Use permitted to the client
The client may
- Print photos for personal use (albums, prints, gifts)
- Share them on personal social media, crediting the photographer
- Share them with family and friends
- Use the photos as personal keepsakes
The client may not
- Sell the photos to third parties
- Use them for commercial purposes without authorisation
- Edit the photos (filters, retouching, manipulation)
- Transfer the rights to third parties without written authorisation
Use by the photographer
- Personal portfolio (website, social media)
- Promotion of his own work
- Entry in photography competitions
- Editorial publications
The client may request that certain images not be published, or that their use be limited to specific purposes, to be specified in the contract.
Client's obligations
- Provide accurate information about the date, venue and details of the event
- Ensure the photographer's access throughout the event
- Obtain consent from guests for photography, where necessary
- Coordinate the schedule to maximise photographic coverage
- Pay within the agreed timeframe
Photographer's liability
Limited liability
The photographer is liable only for wilful misconduct or gross negligence in performing the service, and for infringement of copyright.
Limitations
The photographer is not liable for:
- Events beyond his control (weather, insufficient light, obstructions)
- Unforeseen technical issues (equipment failure, data loss)
- Delays caused by the client or third parties
- Dissatisfaction due to subjective preferences about style
In case of technical failure
In the event of irreparable loss of photos due to technical failure, a proportional refund of the service is provided, up to a maximum of the full amount paid. The photographer is not liable for indirect or non-material damages.
Privacy and cookies
The processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy, in compliance with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679). The use of cookies is described in the Cookie Policy.
Governing law and jurisdiction
- Governing law: these Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law
- Jurisdiction: any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Court of Terni, subject to consumer protections under the Italian Consumer Code (art. 33)
Acceptance and changes
By taking part in the photography service or signing the contract, the client fully accepts these Terms and Conditions.
