A note on VAT and travel
In Italy, wedding photography is invoiced with 22% VAT. Always ask whether a quote is VAT included or excluded: "€5,000 + VAT" is really €6,100. My prices always include VAT, and travel within central Italy — Umbria, Tuscany, Rome — is included in the collections. For distant regions or the islands, travel is added transparently and agreed upfront.
Photography and video together
Many couples ask about a photo and video package. Film is a separate craft: its own crew, its own gear and days of editing, so it rarely adds for a few hundred euros. A complete photo-and-film package in Italy generally starts around €6,000–7,000 and rises with a longer film, a trailer and a second shooter.
